Take the time to discover Saint Pol de léon
Come and discover this small coastal village 5 min from your sea and yurt rental in Finistère, camping Saint Pol de Léon. Your walk will revolve around the ancient Cathedral of Saint Paul-Aurélien whose foundations date back to the 12ᵉ century. The architects were inspired by the Cathedral of Coutances to build it, the nave is in Norman limestone but the rest of the construction is in Breton granite. Then direction towards the Pointe de Diben and the pointe de Primel on the commune of Plougasnou, on these grounds you will be able to observe large Pink Rocks. Then you can go along the coast which hides wonderful panoramas until the point of Locquirec or on the beach of Pors ar Villiec, you can observe many surfers. At 45 min from the campsite sea and yurts, don’t forget to make a detour to Brest, its harbour and its famous oceanographic museum: Océanopolis, not to be missed! It is home to more than 10,000 animals of 1000 different species, it is a gigantesque showcase of ocean life.

Bordered by fine sandy beaches such as Trestraou or Trestrignel, you are bound to find what you are looking for if you spend some time there with family or friends.
You will enjoy superb walks along this pink granite coast. Beautiful beaches, especially in the small town of Ploumanac’h are ideal for relaxation and idleness.

Visit of Paimpol and Brehat Island
Situated 1H20 drive from the sea and yurts campsite, Paimpol is one of the most famous village of Brittany. This small maritime city is very popular for its walks and very marked by the epics of 19ᵉ century of the great cod fishing. Don’t miss all the views of the Goëlo coast and the view of Bréhat from the tip of the Arcouest.
Bréhat, one of the small Breton paradises, is to be discovered preferably out of season in order to be able to visit it on foot or by bicycle and to be able to contemplate the extraordinary nature of the one which one nicknames “the island with the flowers”…
